7km northwest of Ierapetra, 240m above sea level.

Sights:

The monastery of Agios Antonios.
The main church of the monastery, which was restored in 1970 and renamed Petros and Pavlos (Peter and Paul).
The big hermitage to the north of the monastery, with engravings on its walls, presumably a secret school, during the Turkish occupation.

The festivals of Peter and Paul on the 29th of June, of the Holy Crucifix on the 14th of September, of St.Anton on the 17th of January and of St.John on the 29th of August.
